In addition to our sponsors, there are many other organizations and individuals who share our zeal for history and our dedication to education and preservation. Please visit our Associates page to learn more about these terrific people.

Oregon Trail in South Pass, Wyoming

Would you like to help us carry on our education and preservation programs? Your monetary support will help Trails Head as we go out into the community to tell people about the history of this country's mass overland migration and as we mark and preserve the remaining vestiges of the trails the pioneers used to travel west.

The members of Trails Head hope your sponsorship gives you a tremendous amount of satisfaction. You are contributing to a worthwhile educational effort.

As a sponsor, you automatically become a one-year member of the national Oregon-California Trails Assocation as well as an annual member of the local Trails Head Chapter. As a member, you'll receive the following publications,

  • "Overland Journal" ... a scholarly examination of the Overland Trek, the land it covered and the diaries of people who traveled it. This national magazine is published quarterly.
  • "News from the Plains" ... a quarterly newsletter that highlights the events and members of the national organization.
  • The Trails Head newsletter ... published each quarter to keep local historians up-to-date on the education, entertainment and preservation efforts of the chapter.

Trails Head will also recognize your generosity by announcing your sponsorship in the national and local newsletters, during our national annual convention (during our program for sponsor recognition and in printed convention material, such as in the registration booklet, programs and tour booklets), and in future curriculum guides and educational materials. Of course, if you want to remain anonymous, we will honor your wishes.
